Sliding ruler gauge by Australian woodworker Derek Lark
A ruler gauge that is used a lot by the people at Gifkins Dovetail.
Easily measure and transfer depths using the sliding ruler. It can be used as a simple tool with a measurement made perpendicular to an edge or move the ruler to longer side and use the 45 degree bevels to measure on the inside or outside of corners. The ruler has a locking thumb screw which allows you to lock and transfer the measurement to your drill press, router table, mitre or table saw. It is quick and easy to use and particularly handy for those doing detailed wood work such as box making.
